Grand Navratri Mahotsav at Shri Parshva Padmavati Shakti Peeth Dham KrishnaGiri, Tamil Nadu

Krishnagiri, (Tamil Nadu), [India] October 5, 2024: The divine celebrations of Navratri Mahotsav are in full swing at the revered Parmapavan Teerth Shri Parshva Padmavati Shakti Peeth DhamKrishnaGiri in Tamil Nadu. Thousands of devotees have flocked to the swarg-like (heavenly) pandal, where the 21 divine forms of Goddess Bhagwati are enshrined, seeking blessings and spiritual upliftment.

The auspicious event was inaugurated by Hon’ble Justice Shri C.T. Ravikumar, a Judge of the Supreme Court of India. His esteemed presence marked the beginning of the Shakti Mahotsav, drawing attendees from across the globe to experience this spiritual occasion.

A grand ritual, led by the highly revered Pragyan Brahmins, involved a powerful 36-kund Yagna ceremony. Thousands of kilograms of ghee, red sandalwood, black sandalwood, dry fruits, rare medicinal herbs, and sacred mantras were offered into the divine fire, creating an ethereal ambiance of devotion and peace.

A magnificent collective aarti was performed by thousands of devotees, each holding five oil lamps, seeking the grace of Goddess Jagat Janani Maa Padmavati. The devotion and fervor lit up the entire pandal as the atmosphere resonated with divine chants and prayers.

The 36-kund Lakshmi Sahasranama Mahayagna, along with the auspicious Abhishek of the goddess, is being conducted under the sacred guidance of the spiritual leader, Param Pujya Sant Vasant Vijay Ji Maharaj, the Peethadheeshwar of Krishnagiri. His holiness’s presence has added immense spiritual energy to the ongoing festival, drawing in thousands of followers daily.

The festival also includes daily recitations of the sacred Devi Bhagwat Katha, which has captivated the devotees with its divine stories, creating a deep connection with the divine mother. The Navratri Mahotsav, scheduled from 3rd to 12th October, continues to attract devotees from various corners of India and abroad, all uniting in devotion to the divine mother at this holy pilgrimage site.
