Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour – 2024 Chennai Challenge Set to Take Place from November 21-24

Chennai, (Tamil Nadu) [India], November 07, 2024: The Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour – 2024, Chennai Challenge, will take place from November 21st to 24th at the Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts, VadaNemli, ECR, Chennai. A press meet was held today where the event was introduced by Mr. Vasudevan, Mr. Irfan, Mr. Magendran, Mr. Martin Sudhakar, Mr. Sundar, and Mr. Mohanraj, all executive members of the Marina Beach Sports Club, alongside Mr. Dhinakaran.

The Marina Beach Sports Club has been entrusted with hosting this prestigious international event by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and Volleyball World. This endorsement comes as recognition of the club’s extensive experience in organizing numerous national and international events since 1992.

The Beach Pro Tour is a globally renowned annual circuit featuring the world’s top beach volleyball athletes competing for substantial prize money across 18 stops worldwide. The Chennai Challenge offers a prize pool of $200,000 USD. This year’s event will feature 24 men’s and 24 women’s top-ranked teams from 42 countries.

The matches will be broadcast live on Volleyball World Television, reaching a global audience. India’s premier digital sports platform “FANCODE” will also stream the event through their app, while EUROSPORT will provide live coverage daily.

Matches will commence at 8 AM and continue until 8 PM across four competition courts with floodlights. The event will feature an international DJ and MC to energize the crowd. Notably, both Indian men’s and women’s teams will participate, offering fans an exciting opportunity to cheer for homegrown talent.

The Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour – 2024 promises to be an unforgettable sporting spectacle, showcasing the best in beach volleyball right here in Chennai.
