1. What is your take on women’s empowerment as a businesswoman?
The social development of families, communities, and countries is only possible if women are empowered. When women live safe, fulfilled, and productive lives, they can reach their full potential. As a woman, it’s essential for society to give us equal opportunities.
2. Do you think women are given equal chances in the fashion industry as men?
As I mentioned earlier, it is significant to consider men and women as equals in this era. Today, in the fashion industry, it’s less about giving people opportunities. It’s more about speaking for yourself and taking the opportunity. If you do that, the doors to the fashion industry are open for you.
3. What changes would you like to see in the fashion industry as an influencer?
As a fashion influencer myself, I believe the myth that having industry connections is a requirement in the fashion world should be broken. Talent is above everything, and if you have that, it doesn’t require you to do the unnecessary.
4. How do you balance personal and professional lives together?
Life as a full-time working professional and a mother drains you. Sometimes, 24 hours a day feels too short. To achieve something, you have to self-sacrifice certain things. I try my best to fulfill all my duties towards my child and my audience as well.
5. What are the challenges faced by you daily?
Time management has become a task for me. Despite my traveling and working on projects, my son’s education is always a priority for me. I constantly juggle between these two things. However, even as a child, he’s understanding enough to help me out.
6. Does your family support your career?
Yes, indeed. My husband and my son are my biggest cheerleaders. They are there to support me on my good and bad days.
7. What message would you like to give to your audience?
I’m very grateful to have a platform where I can express myself and see people enjoying it. I’m very thankful that my audience has contributed to the growth of my career. I hope to keep them entertained and add value through my work. For this, I count on myself because a bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of a branch breaking since its trust is not in the branch but in its wings.
