OSH India 2022: Grand 10th edition set to shape the Future of Occupational Health and Safety

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: Informa Markets in India, India’s leading B2B event organiser, has announced the grand 10th edition of OSH India 2022, the most celebrated trade show for the Occupational Safety and Health industry in the business hub of Mumbai. The two-day expo, slated from 24th to 25th November 2022, will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. OSH India engulfs the entire spectrum of safe and healthy working environments, companies representing their business with remarkable products, services, and solutions portfolios, including innovative industry concepts & themes.

The expoprovides OSH product and service suppliers with an unrivalled opportunity to interact with their target market’s decision-makers. The show will be marked by 160 Exhibitors & over 200 brands and anticipates over 6000 trade visitors with more than 100 Conference speakers. Through its conference, OSH India seeks to spread awareness in focused areas such as mindfulness safety, occupational safety, and health for working women, industrial hygiene and practical approach for industry, technology that is enabling next-generation electrical safety, and workplace ergonomics, to name a few.

Speaking on the announcement of the 10th edition of OSH India 2022, Mr. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India, said, “Occupational health and Safety is a decisive factor in organisational effectiveness, and focusing on creating and spreading awareness has always been a pressing priority, globally. Moreover, increasing casualties in unsafe industrial workspaces have also added to its significance. Industry reports affirm that Global GDP can get a boost by almost 6% if we take care of occupational health and safety. This, in turn, could directly impact India’s GDP to grow by approximately 10% in the next 3-5 years. With consistent emphasis by the government on developing infrastructure and providing workplace safety, along with the rise in global investments in the sector, there is a huge opportunity for suppliers and service providers from across the world to showcase their innovations and knowledge in a vastly untapped and accessible Indian market. Also, over the years, the gender dimension in the OSH industry is increasingly gaining currency, and it is the need for the hour to integrate women workers and gender perspectives in OSH policies, programs and practices. This year OSH also focuses on issues Women face in the OSH domain that inhibit them from reaching the top in this male-dominated domain.”

“In its 10th anniversary, OSH India will pave the way for a high-calibre symposium with inspiring insights and intensive discussions. Our exhibitors will showcase a comprehensive overview of innovative products, equipment, and services. This will further provide unique prospects for global corporations looking for pioneering solutions. This year, OSH turns glamourous with a Safety Fashion Walk, which will be held at the 8th edition of OSH Awards. We look forward to the industry’s contribution and continuous support,” he further added.

The expo is supported by associations the Ministry of MSME, Govt of India, the Indian Technical Textile Association, Safety Appliances Manufacturing Association, the British Safety Council, and the International Powered Access Federation. The key players include Motorola, Kimberly-Clark, Ansell, Karam, Liberty, Udyogi International, MTandT, Allen Cooper, Indiform, Utex, Acme Safetywear, Idos, Youngman, Sure Safety, and Venus, among many others.
