Reformation of the Vigilance and Monitoring Committee under Chairmanship of the Chief Minister

Gandhinagar, Gujarat: The state-level Vigilance and Monitoring Committee has been reformed under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani. The State level Vigilance and Monitoring Committee will review the implementation of the provisions of the Act, the relief and rehabilitation facilities provided to the victims of atrocities, the proceedings of cases under the Act, the roles of various committees/officers responsible for the implementation of the provisions of the Act and various reports received by the State Government. This committee will meet under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister at least twice a year in January and July to review various reports.

The committee consists of Ministers, Members of Parliament, MLAs and high officials of various departments of the State Government– a total of 23 members and one Member Secretary.
