Young Designers from Pravah-Skill Development Centre Present Sustainable and Eco-friendly Collections at a Fashion Event

March 24, 2026: Young designers from Pravah – Skill Development Centre showcased their creative talent at a fashion event, presenting original collections that reflected creativity, confidence, and the transformative impact of skill development. Pravah – Skill Development Centre- is led by Ms. Devyani Jaipuria, Director, RJ Corp. Pravah, through its nine centers across Gurgaon and Jaipur, has been actively promoting skill-based education and livelihood opportunities for youth. Around 15 students from Pravah’s Fashion Designing course presented garments conceptualised and created during their training programme.

The students showcased collections based on sustainable and eco-friendly fashion, featuring recycled denim, reimagined textiles, and innovative waste-to-wear concepts. Their participation highlighted the skills they have developed through training in stitching, embroidery, and design, transforming learning into runway-ready expressions of talent.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Devyani Jaipuria said, “At Pravah, every act of creativity can create change. Platforms like these not only encourage creative expression but also help young individuals gain confidence and prepare for larger opportunities ahead.”

Last year, Ms. Jaipuria launched ‘RiseHer,’ an initiative aimed at creating platforms where young women can learn from inspiring role models, build confidence, and develop a resilient mindset. As part of the initiative, Olympic medallist PV Sindhu recently interacted with students, sharing her journey of discipline, resilience, and perseverance, encouraging young people to believe that “You always have another chance.”

Founded with the vision of empowering underprivileged youth through vocational training, Pravah continues to create meaningful impact by nurturing talent, opening pathways to self-reliance, and inspiring the next generation of creators.
